Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956 is a British Canadian actress. Best known for the character of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and the four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. She reprised the role in the film Sex and the City (2008) as well as Sex and the City 2 (2010). Her leading characters include Police Academy Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the'80s. Kim Cattrall's role in the HBO TV sitcom Sex & the City is the most memorable. She portrayed the role of Venusian Guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars the film that was her first credit performance. In the following year, after appearing as an unproven newcomer for the film Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most promising category.
